Since 1985, People Magazine has annually proclaimed the identity of the Sexiest Man Alive with much fanfare, adulation, and totes-adorbs photos. As that’s proven such a lucrative endeavor, this October the celebrity-tabloid will be launching its new Sexiest Man Dead issue.

The maiden edition will showcase the Artist formerly existing as Prince as the face of postmortem sexiness, just a decade after his untimely demise. Along with a recent photo-shoot, the tabloid asked some hard-hitting questions about the afterlife, plans for the future, and his views on the ongoing opioid epidemic.
Courtney Panzute, Director of Celebrity Morbidity for the magazine expects this issue to be a hot commodity, and a boost to waning magazine sales.
“Studies show that celebrity deaths are four hundred times more tragic than regular people’s deaths,” she explained. “Therefore, reporting on these deaths should be four hundred times more profitable.”
Along with Prince’s sexiest corpse shoot and article, this month’s edition will also report on the failed reboot of Charlie’s Angels due to deceased Angel, Farah Fawcett’s, recalcitrance in signing onto the project.
