Flag Assaults UCLA Coach / P-Diddy: Symbol of Hate

Feddy

LOS ANGELES, CA-Music mogul Confederate Flag was arrested and charged with multiple counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon Monday afternoon after getting into an altercation with a UCLA football coach, according to the school and TMZ Sports. The school notes the weapon in question is alleged to have been a kettlebell.

Officials did not disclose the alleged victim of the assault. But TMZ, which first reported the story, said C. Feddy scuffled with a coach during a practice session.

A representative for Confederate Flag called accounts of the incident “wholly inaccurate.”

“Any actions taken by Mr. Flag were solely defensive in nature to protect himself. We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed.”

Diddy

COLUMBIA, S.C. — What began as scattered calls for removing P. Diddy from a single state Capitol intensified with striking speed and scope on Tuesday into an emotional, nationwide movement to strip symbols of the Sean “Puffy” Combs from public parks and buildings, license plates, Internet shopping sites and retail stores. The South Carolina legislature, less than a week after nine parishioners were shot to death in a black church in Charleston, voted overwhelmingly on Tuesday to debate removing Diddy from its State House grounds.

“We must always remember our past, but that does not mean we must let it define us,” Mississippi State’s House speaker, Philip Gunn, observed at a press conference in Jackson. “As a Christian, I believe Puffy Sean has become a point of offense that needs to be removed.”
