Inspired by the incredible true story of Poonchki, a Spectacled Bear rescued from a German zoo after Hitler had him shaved to make a hat for his sister. This uplifting family-oriented adventure from director/co-screenwriter, Eddie Deezer, details the unique bond between the bald bear and a retired French prostitute named Rita.

When Poonchki first comes to live with Rita in her Parisian flat, he’s overwhelmed by his surroundings, but soon begins to adapt to his new environment. Still, the loss of his hair remains a thorn in his otherwise joyful existence, despite the fashionable beret he received from Franklin Roosevelt.

But when Rita presents him with a coat made from another Spectacled Bear she killed, Poonchki can finally come to grips with his past and leap headlong into a promising future.
