NEW YORK — As the news flashed around the globe that New York state had legalized gay Super Hero weddings, Daily Bugle owner/editor, J. Jonah Jameson, lashed out with a harsh rebuke.
“And now we’ve given these costumed freaks another reason to be flambouyant and irritating,” the Newspaperman observed. “I’m moving to France where they at least admit they’re socialists.”
In Brooklyn, Reverend Al Sharpton received his first two requests for Herosexual weddings. They scheduled one for Labor Day weekend. “Just because God’s against it doesn’t mean we can’t make a buck off the homos,” Sharpton related.
Numerous homo-herotic revelers joined in the celebration, including young Billy Batson. “I can’t believe it’s finally happened. Now I can marry my alter-ego, Shazam!!”
