The other day, one of my friends said his son was seriously considering going to one of those vocational schools to become a Paralegal. I nearly soiled myself.
Now, I’m not one to stomp on a young person’s dreams, but come on. Where does this dunce expect to work?!? It’s not like there’s a huge demand for lawyers that can parachute!
From my experience, skydiving from 12,000 feet only takes about six and a half minutes, and only four of those are really suitable to hold a conversation. Thus, any legal particulars would need be ironed out in less than five minutes. Even a will takes longer than that, let alone a family trust or custody battle.
Well, I told my friend he probably ought to lower his expectations for his mutant offspring. Then he got all beligerent and walked off. People with dumb kids are so sensitive.
