Reporters and law enforcement officers alike stormed the Los Angeles residence of Jennifer Jason Leigh due to reports of her involvement in a hostage situation in Maryland. Authorities say they were tipped-off to her whereabouts by the driver of a “Hollywood Stars” tour bus.
“She still refuses to come out,” advised Police Chief, Charlie Beck,”and says we have the wrong person. Not likely, sister!!” he continued over a bull horn. “Throw down your bomb and come out with your hands up!”
The SWAT team rushed the house at 1:15 Pacific TIme, and subdued the actress / home grown terrorist. Later, it was dicovered that Leigh had no culpability in the incident. She was released with a strong warning not to do it again.
Police then went to the house of Jason Lee, from TV’s My Name Is Earl, and demanded he release the hostages and surrender.
