The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) warned people along the Eastern Seaboard to prepare for possible evacuations before Earl makes landfall. Earl was expected to remain over the open ocean before turning north and running parallel to the East Coast, however Randy had to use the bathroom so they decided to make a quick pit-stop in North Carolina.
“This could be the most devastating natural disaster since tropical storm Oprah,” reported FEMA Law Enforcement (FEMALE) officers.
Forecasters cautioned that it was still too early to tell how close Earl might come to land, though on Monday, Earl delivered a glancing blow to several small Caribbean islands, tearing roofs off homes and leaving 187,000 people without electricity.
