Boo-Yah, sports fans, and welcome to another installment of Loser Sports! This week Detroit Lions Coach, Dan Campbell, says he’s probably going to go to their Thanksgiving match-up with the Chicago Bears.
“It’s kind of in my contract,” Campbell said a a press conference earlier today.
Lions substandard quarterback, Jared Goff, is questionable for the game due to injuries, while back-up QB, Tim Boyle, hopes to get his second NFL start while attending just his third NFL game ever.
“I’m super-psyched,” Boyle said while looking for his helmet. “My dad says he might even come to the game…if the traffic isn’t too bad.”
While perusing the Want-Ads, Campbell told Loser Sports that Goff wasn’t a definite “no” for the game, but if he couldn’t play, the team would probably still show up.
“I figure, we might as well,” Campbell remarked. “It beats hanging out at my sister’s place talking politics with her ‘life partner’.”
If Goff is able to overcome his injury by game-time, Campbell thinks they may have a shot at their second tie of the season.
“And that’s practically a win in my book.”
