Ya know’, this whole “economic crisis” reminds me of my favorite episode of Drake and Josh. Of course, that was the “Really Big Shrimp” episode.
See, Josh mistakenly ate Crazy Steve’s enchilada out of the fridge, which has no bearing on the plot, but was hilarious nonetheless. Anywho, Josh lands Drake a gig at the movie theater and talks a music producer from Spin City Records into hearing his song .
Anyway, he loves the song and offers Drake a contract to use it for a Superbowl commercial. Drake and Josh are totally stoked, but then Josh goes back and hears a reworked version of the song which totally sucks, but then the producer offers him a platter of really big shrimp, so he signs the deal as Drake’s manager anyway.
When Drake finds out, he’s like, “What the derf?!? That’s not my song!!”, and gets really mad and fires Josh.
So, Josh goes to Spin City Records and replaces the reworked song with the original version, and when Drake hears it playing on the Superbowl commercial, he’s way excited and gives Josh a hug, but then the record company calls and tells them they’re going to sue, and that our heroes are going to prison.
Luckily, the song’s a hit and the record company is so happy that they fire the guy who screwed up the song in the first place. Then Drake sings his hit song at Helens’ wedding, but by that time, I was sick of it. The End.
So you see, America, sometimes something looks really bad, but then later it turns out good, but by then you’re tired of it and want something new.
